Join FGS for our New Hampshire Females in Flag League, designed exclusively for girls in Grades 3–5 and 6–8!
This league provides a competitive, empowering, and developmental environment where female athletes can grow their skills, build confidence, and compete alongside other girls in a structured NFL FLAG format.
This is a 5 vs. 5, non-contact league played on Saturdays. Teams typically roster 9–10 players to maximize development, rotations, and playing time.
Whether you're new to football or building toward higher levels of play, this league is built to support athletes of all experience levels.
No tryouts. Everyone plays.

League Structure Note (NH Focus)

This league is intended to operate as a New Hampshire-only Female in Flag League.
Our goal is to keep NH teams competing within New Hampshire.
However, league structure is based on registration numbers.
If division numbers require it for competitive balance and scheduling, Massachusetts and New Hampshire teams may be combined into one Female in Flag division.
We will communicate any updates prior to the season start.

Season Timeline

Player Evaluations: TBD (if necessary based on numbers)
First Games: May 2nd, 2026
Playoffs Begin: June 13th, 2026
Makeup Date (if needed): June 20th, 2026
Championship Games: June 20th, 2026
Game Days: Saturdays between 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM
(Game times vary based on division size and field availability)
Primary Location: TBD
If leagues combine, some travel to MA may be required.

Practice Format

Teams are encouraged to hold a 1-hour practice before each game
Optional weekday practices may be scheduled at the coach’s discretion

Communication & Scheduling
All team communication, rosters, and schedules are managed through the GameChanger App, where families can:
View weekly practice and game schedules
Communicate directly with coaches via team chat
Receive schedule updates and notifications
Families will receive instructions once rosters are finalized.
Stay connected through our social media for updates, highlights, and league announcements.

Player Gear

Each registered athlete receives:
Reversible NFL FLAG jersey
Flag belt
Matching team shorts
All 32 NFL teams are represented.
Please review the updated NFL FLAG sizing chart prior to registration, as jersey styles have recently changed.

Divisions & Eligibility

This league is exclusively for female athletes in:
Grades 3–5
Grades 6–8
Eligible Ages: Typically 8–14 (grade-based placement)
Every team advances to playoffs. Division champions will be crowned on June 20th.

Volunteer Opportunities

Each team may have up to 3 parent volunteers:
Head Coach
Assistant Coach(s)
All volunteers receive coaching resources and are invited to a preseason orientation for guidance and support.

Registration Opens: December 1st, 2025
Registration Closes: April 25th, 2026 (or when capacity is reached)
After capacity is reached, players will be placed on a waitlist
Late Registration Fee (Beginning April 2nd, 2026): $20

1. What makes FGS Flag Football camp so special?

FGS Flag Football is the longest running NFL Flag program in New England and one of the longest running in the country, so there is no beating our experience. FGS Flag Football was chosen by the New England Patriots (ever heard of them?) as their official flag football league program to partner with for the Females in Flag initiative to create the first sanctioned high school flag program in MA.
FGS Flag Football is veteran owned and operated, so you can expect a well-organized camp that creates the ideal environment for your child to learn the game of flag—while having fun, of course! All our counselors are either former NFL Flag players/coaches or college athletes (some are both), so there is no shortage of knowledge and skill available for your child to learn from.

2. Benefits of FGS Flag Football camp?

Children will learn the fundamentals of the game and develop a greater understanding of how to become the best teammate and player they possibly can be. Participants work on improving their agility and flag skills through drills designed by NFL Flag and Mojo Youth Sports.
Campers will play in daily scrimmages after working on developing proper technique with passing, catching, flag grabbing, and general flag concepts to practice in a game atmosphere. All of this leads to these young athletes having increased self-confidence, skill, and sportsmanship.

3. Who can attend camp?

Any child from kindergarten to 8th grade can attend camp regardless of skill or experience. Campers are divided up by grade to make sure teams stay balanced and players are learning skills appropriate for their age level.

4. Do you offer food or drinks?

Campers should bring their own food and drinks, but we will always have water available. Campers are rewarded with a special treat on the last day of camp!

Pricing

1. How much is camp?
At $175, FGS Flag Football summer camps are far cheaper than the average summer camp in the region—some similar camps cost upwards of $350! Save $15 if you sign up for more than one camp!
2. When and where is the camp?
FGS Flag Football has five camps throughout the summer—three in NH and two in MA. All camps run Monday–Thursday from 9am–12pm. NH camps are held in Stratham, Portsmouth, and Brentwood; the MA camps are held in Newburyport and Salisbury.
3. What is included with registration?
Campers receive an FGS Flag Football jersey with the logo, which can be customized with a name for a small additional fee.

No refunds or credits within two weeks of the start of camp.

Please bring your own flags. If you do not have flags, they can be purchased at camp for $10 via cash or Venmo.

Patriots Girls High School League

Massachusetts Girls High School League provided by the Patriots Foundation with support from Future Gen Sports.  Over 50 High Schools participated in 2025, with an anticipated 80 schools to sign up for 2026.  With hopes of the MIAA to sanction the sports for the 2027 season!
