2026 Spring Exeter Flag Football

Join FGS Flag Football, part of the largest youth flag football organization in the country!

This 6-game season, held on Saturdays, features a 5 vs. 5, non-contact, recreational, co-ed format with girl's divisions available by grade. Teams typically include 9–10 players to maximize development and playing time.

Whether you're new to the sport or building toward tackle football, this league offers a fun, developmental experience for all skill levels.

No tryouts. Everyone plays!

Season Timeline

Player Evaluations: TBD

First Games: May 2nd, 2026

Playoffs Begin: June 13th, 2026

Makeup Date (if needed): June 20th, 2026

Championship Games: June 20th, 2026

MA vs. NH Border Battle: TBD – State champions face off!

Game Day: Saturdays between 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (exact times vary by field availability and league size)

Practice Format

Practices are recommended 1 hour before each game

Optional weekday practices may be scheduled by coaches, based on team availability

Communication & Scheduling

All rosters, schedules, and communication are managed through the GameChanger App, where families can:

Track weekly practice and game schedules

Use team chat for direct communication with coaches and teammates

Notifications are sent once rosters are confirmed and team pages are activated.

Player Gear

Each registered athlete receives:

A reversible NFL FLAG jersey

A flag belt

Matching team shorts

All 32 NFL teams are represented!

Divisions & Eligibility

Divisions are organized by grade for consistency and competitive balance:

Grades: Kindergarten through 8th Grade

Girls Divisions: Available by grade level

Lil Patriots (4U): For beginners age 4 & under

Every team advances to the playoffs. Division championships take place on June 20th, followed by the MA vs. NH Border Battle (TBD)

Each team is supported by up to 3 parent volunteers:

All volunteers receive access to coaching resources and are invited to a pre-season orientation for support and guidance.

Registration Open: December 1st, 2025 – April 25, 2026

After capacity is reached, new registrants will be placed on a waitlist

Late Registration Fee: As of April 2nd, 2026 - $20
